Coconut oil up on local demand

NEW DELHI, Dec 25: Coconut oil prices moved up by Rs 20 per tin on local demand in an otherwise steady wholesale oils and oilseeds market today.
However, non-edible oils held steady in restricted deals.
Marketmen said some local demand mainly supported the upside in coconut oil prices.
In the national capital, coconut oil rose by Rs 20 to Rs 1,380-1,430 per tin.
The following were today’s quotations per quintal:
Oilseeds: Mustardseed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,160-1,290.
Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 8,150, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 2,000-2,050, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 7,500, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,280-1,360, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,365-1,465, Sunflower 6,300, Sesame Mill Delivery 11,600, Soybean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 7,550, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) 7,250, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 5,500, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 6,450, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 6,600, Palmolein (Kandla) 6,200,Rice Bran (phy) 3,800 and Coconut (per tin) 1,380-1,430.
Non-edible oils: Linseed 7,100, Mahuwa 4,000, Castor 9,400-9,500, Neem 5,300-5,400, Rice Bran 3,170-3,270 and Palm Fatty 3,225-3,300.
Oilcakes: Groundnut Dehusk 800-850, Sesame 950-1,150, Mustard (New) 1,000-1,025, Mustard 1,200-1,210 and Cottonseed 1,075-1,175. (AGENCIES)
