JAMMU, Dec 25: The list of promotion of Class IV employees of Education Department of Doda District, which was published recently on December 19, 2013, has come into the cordon of suspicion with scores of employees raising fingers on the promotion list and seeking inquiry into it.
A scores of people today approached Excelsior and alleged irregularities in the promotion list.
They termed the promotion list as faulty on the ground that the type test for the promotion was conducted without the information to concerned DDEOs.
Besides, they maintained that those candidates who even did not ever saw and touch the typing machine were qualified in the test while some of the qualified post graduates were deprived from the promotion.
They cited that one of the candidates namely Talib Hussain, working as peon in HSS Sazan was shown as qualified in the type test and his figures in the promotion list despite the fact that he had not even appeared in the test and was present in the school, which can be verified from the daily attendance register of the said school.
They sought an enquiry into alleged irregularities in the promotion list demanding that the said list be declared cancelled and the type test be re-conducted in the presence of a high-level committee.
