Villager’s body recovered

RAJOURI, Aug 24: The body of a villager was recovered from the bank of a Nallah in Manjakote area of district Rajouri today.
The body was lying in Nailli area under Manjakote police station. The police took the dead body in its possession and after getting the post-mortem at GMC Rajouri, kept the dead body in the mortuary for identification.
Reports said at around 9:00 am today, the Sarpanch informed police that dead body of a person was lying at the bank of Nallah in Nailli area. The police immediately reached the spot and took the body in custody.
SHO Manjakote Abrar Ahmed told that the police have started investigations by registering the case and efforts are being made to identify the deceased.
