JAMMU : One person was killed and three others, including a woman and two children, injured in a blast in a shop here today, police said.
The blast in the shop in Sonu Kabadi in Deeli belt probably occurred due to old explosive material, a condenser or a gas cylinder lying in the shop, a senior police official said.
Saifullah, a labourer, died in the blast, while the injured woman and two children have been shifted to GMC hospital, he said.
Ruling out any angle of sabotage in the incident, the police official said a bomb disposal squad has been sent to the spot to carry out sanitisation operation.
Police is investigation the reason behind the blast, he said. (AGENCIES)
