BASOHLI, Aug 25: Fulfilling the longstanding demand of the people of Rean, Ghagrore and Plahi Panchayats in Basohli Sub-District, DDC Chairman Kathua, Colonel Mahan Singh (Retd) here today inaugurated construction work of 3 km NABARD link road between Batada and Rehan.
This work shall be completed at an expenditure of Rs. 4.67 crore.
Local BDC Chairperson, Sushma Jamwal was also present on the occasion along with other dignitaries. The enthusiastic local residents raised pro PM slogans.
Addressing the gathering, Mahan Singh expressed his gratitude to PM Modi and LG Manoj Sinha for their unwavering commitment for rural development.
He highlighted the significance of this newly inaugurated NABARD link road and said how it will uplift the quality of life for the local population and invigorate economic prospects in the region.
Among those who were present on the occasion were Kewal Singh, Sarpanch Rajinder Singh, Yubkaran Singh, Aslam Bakarwal, Raj Kumar and others.
