JAMMU, Aug 28: Dr Rajesh Gupta, Professor and Head Department of Orthopaedics, ASCOMS and Hospital Jammu, has been elected as the president of Indian Orthopaedic Rheumatology Association (IORA) during Spine Conclave held at Siliguri, West Bengal.
IORA is an Academic Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons of India. The main aim of this Association is to spread the knowledge of Rheumatological diseases amongst the Orthopaedic Surgeons, especially young Orthopaedic Surgeons so that they can diagnose and manage these Rheumatological diseases like Rheumatoid arthritis, Gouty arthritis, Seronegative spondyloarthropathies, Osteoporosis, etc in an efficient way.
For that the Association holds regular conferences and workshops across India. It is pertinent to mention that Dr Rajesh Gupta had also organized 11th IORA Annual Conference at Jammu in the year 2019.
