SRINAGAR, Aug 28: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Srinagar today ordered transfer and posting of 21 police officers. Among them are 17 Inspector ranked officers, 2 Sub-Inspectors (SIs), and as many Probationer Sub-Inspectors (PSIs).
An order issued in this context said that Inspector Rabinder Singh has been transferred from Police Station Rajbagh to Police Station Parimpora as SHO, Inspector Abdul Manan Malik from DPL Srinagar to Police Station Shaheed Gunj as SHO, Inspector Towseef Ahmad from Police Station Shalteng to Police Station Harwan as SHO, Inspector Kushab Kumar from DPL Srinagar to Police Station Shalteng as SHO, Inspector Jonesh Kumar from Police Station Zakoora to Police Station Maisuma as SHO, Inspector Mohammad Iqbal from Police Post Rangreth to Police Station Sangam as SHO, Inspector Adil Rashid from Police Station Soura to Police Station Rajbagh as SHO, and Inspector Arif Ahmad from Police Station Karan Nagar to Police Station Zakoora as SHO.
The order further said that Inspector Aijaz Ahmad has been transferred from Police Station Sangam to Police Station Chanapora as SHO, Inspector Sajad Assad from Police Station Chanapora to Police Station Soura as SHO, Inspector Tanveer Ahmad from DPL Srinagar to Police Station Karan Nagar as SHO, Inspector Iftikhar Hussain from Police Station Kralkhud to Police Station Ahmad Nagar, Inspector Mohammad Iqbal from DPO Srinagar to Police Station Kralkhud as SHO, Inspector Tariq Ahmad from Police Station Maisuma to Police Station Nishat as SHO, Inspector Syed Iqbal from Police Station Nishat to DPL Srinagar, Inspector Asif Iqbal from DPL Srinagar to DPO Srinagar as incharge IC Crime Section, and Inspector Shahnawaz Ahmad from DPL Srinagar to Police Station AHTU as SHO.
Sub-Inspector Javid Ahmad has been transferred from Police Station Nowgam to Police Post Urdu Bazar as Incharge Police Post, SI Azad Ahmad from DPL Srinagar to Police Post Qamarwari as incharge Police Post, PSI Suhail Anees from Police Post Qamarwari to Police Post Rangreth as Incharge Police Post, and PSI Mohammad Aqib Dar from Police Post Urdu Bazar to Police Station Nowgam, said the order.
The officers transferred have been relieved forthwith.
Meanwhile, 4 probationer police officers, including three IPS officers and one JKPS officer have been asked to report to DPO Srinagar after completion of their independent SHO postings.
The IPS officers who have been asked to report to DPO Srinagar are Hariprasad KK, Kartik Shrotriya, and Mukund Tiberwal while as the JKPS officer asked to report to DPO Srinagar is Saheel Iqbal.
