UDHAMPUR, Aug 28: Jammu and Kashmir BJP spokesperson Ranbir Singh Pathania today said that zero tolerance policy of Government towards terrorist activities has virtually yielded results and now, terrorism is on its last leg in J&K.
“The morale of security forces is on an all time high and subversive elements are on a defensive mode,” said Pathania while interacting with a score of delegations hailing from various far flung pockets of district Udhampur at BJP headquarters, Battal Balian, canvassing various day to day issues.
He further said that J&K will develop as a model of development with quality roads, invaluable drinking water supply, good educational, sports-related and infrastructure facilities in far flung areas of Udhampur.
A deputation from village Basantgarh demanded immediate overhaul of Ramnagar to Basantgarh road which is being built under various projects and various centrally sponsored schemes (CRF, PMGSY upgradation, district sector). He said that the executive agencies should get the work completed in a time bound manner and they should also keep operational the roads under execution so that the impending traffic is not affected.
Pathania was accompanied by Jattu Ram (DDC Ramnagar-II) who also put his valuable inputs and consultations with respect to the problems of the area.
