Forest Corporation employees delegation meets MD

JAMMU,Aug 30: Forest Corporation Employees Union leaders including Mrs. C K.Sudan and Suresh Sharma president and general secretary respectively met Suresh Gupta, MD FDCL and raised many issues concerning the employees and demanded their immediate redressal.
The delegation demanded implementation of 7th Pay Commission report retrospectively as most of the corporations have implemented the same in favour of its employees but unfortunately SFC/FDCL which is not in loss have not implemented the same.
The delegation also demanded release of DA/COLA arrears w.e.f 1.1.96 to 30.6.2010, clearance of all SRO-43 cases, release of full DA i.e. 221 percent in favour in -service employees, timely release of monthly salary by first of every month, revision of gratuity formula at par with Government, refund of amount deducted on account Employees Welfare Fund which stands discontinued since long.
Managing Director informed the delegation that he is already seized of these problems and they will be resolved at the earliest. The leaders assured full cooperation by both the unions of Jammu and Srinagar and hoped that new MD will come up to the expectations of employees of Forest Corporation.
