JAMMU, Aug 30: The Government today ordered promotion of several Engineers of the Public Works (R&B) Department.
As per an order, four Incharge Executive Engineers (Civil) were promoted as Executive Engineers (Civil) PW (R&B) Department on the recommendations of the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC)/ Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC).
They are Ghulam Hassan Khanday, regularised with effect from March 1, 2014, Zaffar Qureshi, regularised with effect from January 1, 2019, Irfan Ahmad Shah, regularised with effect from February 6, 2020, and Bilal Masood Shayiq, regularised with effect from April 1, 2020.
“The promotions of the Engineers are subject to the outcome of writ petition(s) pending, if any, before the competent court(s) of law,” said the order.
Another order said that Engineer Sunil Kumar Dogra, Incharge Executive Engineer, Public Works (R&B) Division, Akhnoor, shall hold the charge of post of Executive Engineer, R&B Division, Khour, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Further, Engineer Abdul Hamid Baba, Incharge Executive Engineer, awaiting orders of adjustment in the Public Works (R&B) Department, is placed at the disposal of Department of Rural Development and PR.
Meanwhile, Government through another order, ordered the promotion of 7 Incharge Assistant Executive Engineers (mechanical) as assistant executive engineer (Mechanical) and 15 incharge assistant engineers (mechanical) as Assistant Engineers (Mechanical).
The seven Incharge Assistant Executive Engineers (Mechanical) who have been promoted as Assistant Executive engineers (mechanical) are Mubarak Ahmad Mir, Gurdeep Singh Bali, Davinder Sharma, Deepak Gupta, Raj Kumar Kohli, Asif Zahoor and Sandeep Sharma.
The Incharge Assistant Engineers (Mechanical) who have been promoted as assistant engineers (mechanical) are Sandeep Sharma, Kamaljeet Singh, Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, Tanveer Hussain Khan, Prince Aijaz, Mohammad Ismail Lone, Regzin Wagtak, Sanjay Gandotra, Vinod Khajuria, Bharat Bushan Sharma, Gurmeet Singh, Atul Sharma, Sushil Kumar, Rajesh Gupta and Bashir Ahmad Lone.
