JAMMU, Sept 1: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today said that clash of interests among the constituent parties of opposition alliance INDIA will decide its fate ahead of Lok Sabha polls in 2024.
He was addressing a gathering after inaugurating development work in Ward No. 52. He said that BJP under stewardship of PM Narendra Modi has become an indomitable force which couldn’t be surmounted by any entity whatsoever. He said that the opposition has lately been trying to carry out all kinds of calculations and through such experimentation wanted to decimate BJP in polls but deep inside every single member of INDIA knows well that the task is next to impossible as the saffron party has become a force to reckon with because anyone can contest polls with its candidates but no one can win against the present status of the party and its leadership’s stoutness.
Kavinder said that it is always good to prepare for the upcoming challenges but the record of opposition parties becoming part of INDIA Alliance is not ‘clean’ because these do change stance on petty issues and therefore ‘disintegration’ and ‘disorientation’ are central to these parties as being their intrinsic characteristics making the future of this partnership bleak and shaky.
“The biggest challenge before the newly formed merger is to remain united and keep this unity above the individual interests as many times before also such partnerships have appeared but the time taken to disappear was not more than the time an eye takes for blinking”, he said, adding that internal rifts among alliance partners will make the road and journey of BJP to parliament smooth and pleasant respectively.
Earlier, Kavinder Gupta also interacted with people of Ward no 52 and listened to their issues with regard to civic amenities. He assured them that their issues will be resolved at the earliest by taking up the same with the authorities concerned.
