BASOHLI, Sept 1: In collaboration with Chudamani Sanskrit Institute, Basohli, Central Sanskrit University, Shri Ranbir Campus, Kot Bhalwal Jammu, today organized various programs at Basohli Nagar under the Sanskrit Week.
A Sanskrit Shobha Yatra was taken out along with various cultural programmes in which the students of Shri Ranbir Campus and Chudamani Sanskrit Sansthan participated enthusiastically.
Sanskrit Week celebration at Ramisht B Ed College Basohli was inaugurated by Campus Director Prof Madan Mohan Jha by lighting the traditional lamp and addressing the audience. He said that Sanskrit is the mother of all languages and termed it as the most suitable language for computers. He further commented that Sanskrit is also considered to be the most important language for artificial intelligence.
During the function, various competitions were organized for the students in which Sanskrit speech, Sanskrit group song, Sanskrit solo song and Sanskrit poem recitation were the main highlight of the program.
Sanskrit procession was also organized from Chudamani Sanskrit Sansthan Gurukul to Basohli Nagar.
On this occasion, Principal of the Gurukul, Abhishek Upadhyay and convener of Sanskrit Week, Dr Rajkumar Mishra were also present.
