Adbi Kunj celebrates 49th foundation day

JAMMU, Sept 2: The 49th foundation day of Adbi Kunj was celebrated here today. A multi lingual mushayra was held followed by Sham-E-Ghazal by renowned Singer Dharmendra Nargotra who performed at the stage by his melodious voice.
The programme was presided over by Sham Talib president of Adbi Kunj. The others who graced the occasion by sharing the dias include R.S.Chib former Minister as Chief Guest, Shah Niwaz incharge languages Cultural Academy, Zorawar Singh Jamwal Vice President Jammu Press Club as the guest of honour and Ramesh Chander Gupta rtd Chief Engineer and an eminent Literary personality.
The programme was anchored by Arsh Dalmotra Chairman and Pyaasa Anjum literary Secretary respectively. The book Origin Rise & Growth of Gujjars written by Sarwar Chohan Habeeb Poet & Writer was released on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion R S Chib lauded the role of Adbi Kunj in the development of various languages and by organising such poetic symposium i.e of multiple languages representing various classes of the society really give boost to the ethos of the society.
Zorawar Singh Jamwal said that Adbi Kunj deserve all appreciation for organising such a programme where poets of different languages participates. “There is no dearth of poets in Jammu as Jammu have become hub of cultural activities and poets are serving the society with their pen,” he said.
Shah Nawaz incharge languages Cultural Academy said that it is his top priority to give boost various languages by organising such programmes and we are our level are also organised such programmes at capital of the UT and even at Distt. levels ,and we are always ready to provide facilities for organising such programmes by various Adbi organisations.
