KATHUA, Sept 2: The Kathua unit of Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) organized Bharat Ko Jano Gyan Pratiyogita, a quiz in Tiny Scholars School, Logate Morh, here today.
The event commenced with lighting of traditional lamp by Chairperson of BVP manish Gupta and Principal of the host school, Reena Khajuria.
About 50 students of 12 schools participated in the quiz which was organized in two categories-Junior (class 6th to 8th) and senior (class 9th to 12th). A pair of two students from each school participated in both the categories. The Quiz was held in three rounds-Written, Visual and Current Affairs Round. Evaluation of Written Round was done on the spot.
Nav Adarsh School, Kathua bagged 1st spot, Dhawani Priya and Anjal Jasrotia of Tiny Scholars School, Logate Morh secured 2nd having a tie with MSK higher Secondary School whereas RS Golden and Minerva bagged 3rd spot in the senior category.
In junior category, Spring Dales School and RS Golden School won 1st and 2nd positions, respectively while Rasanpreet and Rijul Sharma of Tiny Scholars School, Logate Morh bagged 3rd position.
The event was hosted by Prerna Khajuria along with Tapasya Gupta (a student) from the host institution.
