JAMMU, Sept 3: In a function organised at Writers Club here today famous ‘Bhaakh’ sung by the renowned folk singer Asha Kesar was released by the chief guest Gulchain Singh Charak, president Dogra Sadar Sabha.
Asha Kesar along with many prominent writers, singers and other personalities including Padam Shree Jitendra Udhampuri; Padam Shree Mohan Singh, Padam Shree Balwant Thakur, Ashok Singh, president Delphic Council, Zorawar Singh, Vijay Verma, J.R Jackson, Randhir Singh Raipuria, Seema Anil Sehgal, Bishan Das and Dr. Sushma Rajput were also present on the occasion.
Poster and audio of ‘Dhakki Ballein Ballein Chadeyan’ was also released by Asha Kesar on the occasion.
Devinder Singh, who prepared the audio-video of the song, was also honoured.
All the speakers appreciated Asha Kesar, the queen of Dogri folk for her contribution in the field.
