RAMBAN, Sept 3: Nineteen cops and eight women detainees received minor injuries when a police bus in which they were travelling-in hit a parked Army truck near Tunnel T-2, Kelamorh here today on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
Police sources informed that the Police Bus bearing Registration Number JK01AF-6605 was carrying eight female detainees from Central Jail Srinagar to District Jail Bhadrawah and all the 27 people travelling in the vehicle receiving minor injuries.
They said after receiving the information rescue teams of Police and volunteers reached the spot and shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Ramban where they were provided medical aid and were discharged as no one was seriously injured.
SHO Ramban Nayeem-ul-Haq said condition of all the injured people was stable.
