SAMBA, Sept 3: An Army personnel died due to electrocution inside an Army camp near Birpur.
“Deepak Pandey (25) of Engineering 3 (I) Brigade Ratnuchak received severe electric shock late last night when he came in contact with a live wire while working on some product, “said Police sources.
They said the soldier hailing from Uttarakhand was rushed to Military Hospital Satwari where he breathed his last. “The concerned police have started inquest proceedings in this connection while the body of the deceased would be taken to his hometown for last rites after completion of legal formalities,” sources added.
