JAMMU, Sept 4: The parcel services in the Delhi area, including New Delhi, Delhi Junction, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Anand Vihar Terminal, Delhi Sarai Rohilla, and Adarsh Nagar Delhi, will be restricted from September 8 to 10 due to security measures for the G20 Summit.

“Parcel deliveries and pickups will not be allowed during this period. This restriction applies to both incoming and outgoing parcel traffic, including leased SLR, AGC, and VPS services,” Deepak Kumar, Chief Public Relations Officer, Northern Railways, said in a statement.

He said the personal luggage can still be carried in passenger coaches, and the booking of registered newspapers and magazines will be allowed, following the usual commercial procedures.

“This restriction applies to trains originating from the Delhi area stations and also to passing trains from other Divisions/Zones that stop in the Delhi Area for loading/unloading,” he said.
