JAMMU, Sept 4: Balgran — a charitable home for destitute children at Channi Rama (Jammu) celebrated its 69th foundation day today.
A colourful cultural programme was organized on the occasion during which various dance items were presented by the inmates of the Home.
Earlier, the program started with ‘Saraswati Vandana’ and welcome address to guests and ex-inmates by president of the Home, AK Khajuria, who highlighted the activities of the Balgran.
Ex-inmates of Balgran – Guftar Ahmed and Shubham Thappa also spoke on the occasion and highlighted the role and supported of Balgran in achieving their education and goals of life.
The programme ended with vote of thanks presented by VK Raina (honorary secretary of Balgran).
