JAMMU, Dec 28: Two-day Street Portrait Photography Exhibition by Vaneet Raj, a young creative artist of Jammu was inaugurated here today at Kala Kendra.
On the occasion, Raman Bhalla Minister for Housing, Horticulture and Culture was the chief guest, who inaugurated the exhibition in presence of Savita Bakshi, Additional Secretary, Academy of Art, Culture and Languages and other dignitaries.
The exhibition showcased the street portraits of people from different culture and regions of J&K.
Minister praised the artist for his unique photography and urged the young artists of the State to organise such events which give an insight to culture.
Bhalla said that he is taking other steps including the construction of an auditorium at Gandhi Nagar worth Rs 15 crore to promote the culture of the State.
Vaneet Raj is a well known graphic designer and film maker of Jammu and he has accomplished many projects in his field.
The exhibition will remain open to public from 11 am to 5 pm.
