JAMMU, Dec 28:   Children’s Winter Workshop-2013 was inaugurated today by Padamshree Balwant Thakur, Director, Natrang Jammu, with the lighting of traditional lamp at Natrang Studio Theatre, here.
The workshop is being conducted by Sumeet Sharma who is Masters in Dramatics and also National Awardee (Direction in Theatre), Asheish Nijhawan, a Post Graduate of National School of Drama with higher education in Theatre from London International School of Performing Arts and Aarushi Thakur, a product of St Stephens College, New Delhi with Post graduation from University of Leister (UK).
The workshop is being assisted by Rahul Singh and Mohd Yaseen, National Scholarship holders in theatre from Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
Speaking on the occasion, Balwant Thakur said that a unique opportunity has been provided by Natrang to Jammu children who will be exposed to the world of creativity and innovation. Using the most latest developed theatrical devices of self exploration and personality development in Europe and USA, the participating children will have the occasion to shape up their immense inner abilities while participating in creative games and exercises.
Forty most deserving children, who have been shortlisted to take part in this workshop include, Ojusvini Kotwal, Sanchita Dubey,  Chirag Anand, Shreya Gupta, Sanyam Gupta, Radhika Singhal, Aleen Singh, Anukriti Sharma, Ashray Sharma, Megha Sharma, Bhavya Raina, Prial Tickoo, Asmi Anand, Mehul Aryan, Udai Bhatt, Asma Gul, Yuvraj Pragal, Khushi Jandial, Riya Jandial, Pragyaan Jain, Shreya Gupta, Shivalik Gupta, Vidhant Suri, Kanya Jamwal, Arihan Gupta, Suditi Jamwal, Diya Gupta, Mrinal Gupta, Ninaad Mahajan, Aftab Ganguly, Hardik Pargal, Isha Khurana, Laith August Sharma, Maatangi Mehta, Divyansh Raina, Anav Jain, Faizan Ganguly, Saksham Mahajan and Taanisi Mehta.
