JAMMU, Dec 28: A man died after falling from railway bridge into nallah at Bajalta area, falling under the jurisdiction of Nagrota Police Station.
A police spokesman said that, a man identified as Ishar Dass, son of Mast Ram, resident of village Sangad, Surinsar was crossing the railway bridge when he accidentally fell down into a nallah at Bajalta area.
He was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors declared him as brought dead.
The body has been handed over to family members after completing legal formalities.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Nagrota Police Station and investigation started.
