JAMMU, Sept 6: The Government SPMR College of Commerce in collaboration with Rotary Club Jammu Tawi hosted ‘Best Teacher Award 2023’ ceremony here today. The ceremony was a heartfelt tribute to the educators who play a pivotal role in shaping the future. It celebrated their dedication, passion, and contributions to society through education.
Prof. Bechal Lal, Vice-Chancellor Cluster University of Jammu, was the chief guest, while Dr. Dushyant Chaudhary, IPDG was the guest of honour.
Principal SPMR College Dr. Surinder Kumar and President Ramnik Singh expressed their gratitude and emphasized the vital role that teachers play in shaping the future and underscoring their unwavering commitment to education.
The teachers who were honoured were Dr. Shiv Kumar, Dr. Ashok Sharma, Dr. Ashaq Hussain, Dr. Sandhya Bhardwaj, and Dr. Sapna Gupta. Vice-Chancellor Prof Bechan Lal expressed his appreciation for the collaboration between SPMR College and Rotary Club Jammu Tawi.
