JAMMU, Sept 6: One person died while another sustained injuries in two separate road accidents here today, officials said.
One Nehal Karlupia (26) son of Raj Kumar of Canal Road was injured when the motorcycle he was riding on was hit by an unknown vehicle at Kaluchak Highway, they said.
He was taken to Government Medical College Jammu, where he was declared as dead on arrival, officials said.
Police have shifted the body of the deceased to mortuary for conducting the post -mortem while case under relevant sections of the law stands registered at Police Station Gangyal.
Meanwhile, one Kailash Devi (65) wife of Charan Dass of Tallab Tillo, Sunder Nagar, was injured after she was hit by a matador.
The woman was undergoing treatment when the last report poured in.
A case under relevant sections of the law has been registered at Police Station Nowabad and further investigation taken up.
