CJ approves promotions of HC officials

Srinagar, Sept 6: Chief Justice of J&K and Ladakh High Court N Kotiswar Singh has approved the promotions of various officials of High Court after the recommendation of Committee for appointment and promotion of officials of the court.
The CJ approved the promotion of Sushil Sharma and Farhana Ali on temporary basis as joint Registrar (Adm) against the posts fallen vacant due to retirement of the officers holding them. Accordingly, Zahoor Ahmad Khan and Meghna Shalla Assistant Registrar-I have been temporarily promoted as Deputy Registrar (Adm) against the vacant posts.
Likewise Anita Kumari, Saima Maqbool and Showkat Hussain Qadri who were holding the post of Registrar-II have been temporarily promoted as Assistant Registrar-I against the vacant post. “Asima Chesti, Imtiyaz Ahmad Wani and Nazir Ahmad Ganai Section Officers (Adm) are temporarily promoted as Assistant Registrar-II in the pay level-8”, read the order issued by Registrar General.
Ravi Kumar and Nighat Nasreen, Court Officers have been promoted as Section Officers in the pay level-7 as the posts were vacant due to promotion of two other officials. Further Javed Ahmad Dar and Reyaz Ahmad Bhat, Head Assistants have been temporarily elevated as Section Officers due to promotion of Wani and Ganai as Assistant Registrar-II (Adm).
Pawan Kumar, Molvi Mehboob, Abdul Rauf Dar, Dalbir Singh, Nazia Nazir and Murtaza Qureshi have been promoted as Court Officers and Senior Assistants respectively with the direction that these officials shall continue to work at their present place of posting till further orders.
