JAMMU, Sept 7: “Golden Epoch-The Era of Knowledge”, penned by Vikramjeet Singh- a young Police Officer, was released here today by Nami Dogri Sanstha.
This spiritual contented book comprises nineteen chapters depicting various dimensions of spiritualism. It is a complete book related with our lives and life affairs.
Padamshri Mohan Singh presided over the function where as Shaliender Singh, SSP Crime and a versatile writer conferred with Sahitya Academy award, was chief guest on the occasion.
Prof Rakesh Kumar Kaul, Principal Govt Degree College Marh, was the guest of honour on the occasion while Prof Savita Jamwal and Raj Rishi Sharma, were special guests. The dais was also shared by Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila, President Nami Dogri Sanstha and Prof Anupama Sharma, Parton NDS.
Capt Lalit Sharma, Convener NDS, read a detailed Paper in Dogri on the released book. Vikramjit Singh, while sharing his experiences with the book, stated that he was introduced to spiritualism by his family Guru Brahmleen Dr Kewal Krishan ji Maharaj at very young age and under his patronage and guidance, he did many Abhiyasas and learned the fundamentals of spiritualism. He further said that through the medium of his book, he wants to spread the message of spiritualism and self realisation for a strong and vibrant society.
Padamshri Mohan Singh said that spiritual teachings are a continuous process to keep on the path of righteousness. He cautioned to be alert from the so called spiritual saints who intend to collect money under the banner of divinity. He desired the translation of the book in Dogri language and Ashok Gupta former Chief Editor of Academy of Art, Culture and Languages volunteered to take up the task of Dogri translation assisted by the author.
Shalineder Singh, in his address, carried out critical appreciation of the released book which he had read. He said spiritualism is not only path to attain God but it is important as way of life to strengthen the social fabric.
Dr Rakesh Kumar Kaul, Prof Savita Jamwal and Rishi Raj Sharma also spoke on the occasion. Shambu Ram Pyasa extended vote of thanks.
