JAMMU, Sept 7: The dead body of a labourer was found hanging this morning at his ‘jhuggi’ in Bharat Nagar area falling under the jurisdiction of Police Post Chinore.
“The deceased has been identified as Santosh Kumar (28) Vishwanath, resident of Gram Paithan Pati Bihar (at present Bharat Nagar, Bantalab, Jammu),” Police sources said.
They said after getting conducted postmortem at Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites while inquest proceeding in this connection was initiated by Police Post Chinore.
