JAMMU, Sept 8: Baba Sidhgoria Temple Paloura, under the supervision of Mahant Kuldeep Singh Ji Maharaj, has geared up to host the grand 54th Shat Chandi Mahayagya from September 14 to 24, 2023.
The journey to enlightenment through the religious discourse of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha by Mahant Dr Satyanarayan Das Maharaj will commence from September 18 at the temple premises to immerse the devotees in divine bliss.
Sharing this information while addressing a press conference, Mahant Kuldeep Singh along with Team Jammu Chairman Zorawar Singh Jamwal invited all the devotees to get immersed in the religious fervour during the Mahayagya followed by Langar on daily basis.
Giving details, Mahant Baba Kuldeep Singh said that the religious programmes will start on September 14, 2023 (Thursday) at 8 am with Jal Yatra followed by Mandap Pujan and Yagya from 8 am to 12 noon on September 14. Shrimad Bhagwat Katha by Dr Mahant Shri Sat Naryan Dass Maharaj will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm daily from September 18, 2023 (Monday) to September 24 (Sunday).
The Shoba Yatra from Paloura will start at 3 am and culminate at 7 am on September 24 while Puran Ahuti and Bhandara will be organised at 12 noon on September 24, 2023 (Monday).
Baba Ji also informed that accommodation and food for Pandits and Mahatmas will be arranged daily by the Baba Sidhgoria Ashram Paloura at the temple premises.
The managing committee members include Varinder Singh, Rampaul Sharma, Ashok Singh Chib, Satish Sharma, Atul Sood, Vasu, Vishu Jaipal, Suresh KumarL , Sonu Baba, Jyot Baba, Ashok Singh (Corporator), Balbir Singh, Mohit Gupta, Amarjeet Singh, Deepanshu, Pawan Kumar Sharma, Suresh Kumar and Kuldeep Gupta.
