JAMMU, Sept 8: Senior BJP leader and Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) for Ward number 31, Sucha Singh along with BJP Talab Tillo Mandal president, Keshav Chopra here today started work of up-gradation of drains with installation of iron gratings at Vikas Lane, Talab Tillo.
The works will be done under the supervision of JMC and will be completed at an estimated expenditure of Rs. 5 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, Sucha Singh said that several developmental works have been completed in the Ward and the remaining ones shall also be completed within stipulated time.
He also said that people of the Ward are also cooperating a lot in developmental works and in maintaining cleanliness in the Ward which is essential to make the Ward a model one.
Keshav Chopra said: “Our slogan is Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sabka Vishwas Aur Sabka Prayaas, which means that no segment shall remain untouched as far as developments are concerned.”
Executive Engineer, Devanand Sethi; Samardeep Singh, Prabodh Choudhary, Pinky Bhat, Ravinder Kachroo, Ravinder Gupta, Manohar Lal and others were also present on this occasion.
