Plus 2 Lecturers express dismay over delay in regularization

SRINAGAR, Sept 8: Plus Two Lecturers Forum discussed their long pending demands under the leadership of district -president, Kishtwar, Pardeep Koul.
The meeting expressed concern over unnecessary delay on the part of Education Department in the regularisation of incharge lecturers including those holding PG degrees through distance mode in Science stream.
Koul expressed resentment for not resolving long pending issues of the lecturers. He, informed that Principal Secretary, School Education Department, Alok Kumar had assured the Forum umpteen times that regularisation will be done in one go by convening a DPC but unfortunately nothing has been done in this regard which has shaken the faith of the lecturers.
The meeting demanded adjustment of unadjusted I/C lecturers of Kashmir division at the earliest to bring an end to the frustration of these elevated lecturers.
He criticised the new transfer policy and said
many schools have been rendered understaffed and even urban schools where student strength is very high have been kept without main subject teachers.
The Forum said that parents are very disappointed and perturbed with the move of the Department.
The meeting said the current transfer policy has ruined the Department. It demanded revival of the transfer policy formulated before the present policy.
Later a delegation led by Koul called on Former Minister Sunil Sharma and discussed all issues threadbare with him seeking his intervention in the matter to get these genuine issues solved.
The other members of the delegation were Imtiaz Ahmed, Bashir Ahmed, Sandeep Rathore, Muzaffer Ahmed, Mehrajdeen Baba, Abdul Khaliq, Syed Bashir, Mohd Amin, Shafaqat Hussain etc.
