POONCH, Sept 8: Two brothers were critically injured in an accident at Nangali Morh near Poonch today.
Official sources said that it was reliably learnt, a Dumper bearing registration number JK12-7859 which was being driven by un-known driver on its way from Poonch towards Guntrian when reached at Nangali Morh, hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK12C-6688, due to which two real brothers riding on the bike were critically injured and taken to District Hospital Poonch for treatment.
Both the injured were identified as Mohd Shakeel and Mohd Nadeem, sons of Mohd Rashid, residents of Shahpur in Poonch.
Medical Superintendent DH Poonch, Dr. Zulfiqar Ali said that both were having multiple injuries and after the initial treatment here, they were referred for advance treatment to GMC Rajouri.
Station House Officer Poonch Insp Deepak Pathania said that a case vide FIR number 144/2023 Under sections 279/337 IPC has been registered and investigation of the case has been taken up.
