JAMMU, Sept 8: The period of absence of Prime Minister (PM) package employees from May 2022 to March 2023 will be treated on duty.
An order to this effect was issued by Director Social Welfare Kashmir and all the DDOs have been asked to take necessary action in this regard.
Meanwhile, All Minority Employees of Kashmir (AMEK) has expressed its satisfaction over the Government decision and complimented Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha, Chief Secretary, Dr Arun Kumar Mehta, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir and other concerned officers who took keen interest in settling this genuine issue.
AMEK in a handout said that it has taken up the issue with the LG, CS and Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir in recent meeting and the concerted efforts of the organization have at last yielded fruit.
