JAMMU, Sept 9: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) today conducted raids at the residence of Nissar Ahmed son of Mohammad Sharief at Gursai in Poonch district, who has been arrested in Dhangri terror attack case of Rajouri district.
A team of NIA accompanied by police raided the residence of Nissar Ahmed and carried out searches for about two hours.
Some documents and electronic gadgets were reportedly examined during the searches.
Nissar, who was already in jail in a case, was taken into custody by the NIA for his involvement in Dhangri terror attack case.
An associate of Nissar was also taken into custody in the same case from the jail.
Both are instrumental in giving shelter to killers of Dhangri terror attack.
Seven civilians of minority community were killed by the militants at Dhangri on January 1 and 2 this year.
