KISHTWAR, Sept 10: Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), today urged the party cadre especially the workers and activists to gear up for the upcoming polls and said that victory of the National Conference is the only solution of all the problems of the people.
Addressing a day long convention of party works Rattan Lal Gupta said that the Government is making tall claims about its so called achievements especially that of equitable development, but the situation on ground speaks contrary.
“The people are fed up with the BJP’s anti people governance as they are struggling amid miseries thrust upon them by the saffron party’s proxy administration in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory,” he said and added that remote areas of district Kishtwar have been completely ignored by the incumbent dispensation, not to talk of its remote areas where the conditions are worst with suffering people having none to listen to their woes. The performance of the UT Administration can be well gauged from the fact that even Kishtwar town stands neglected with no visible improvement on ground.
Earlier Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, former Minister and Zonal President Chenab Valley castigated the Govt for having left the people of this region to the mercy of God amid a volley of miseries. He highlighted the problems being faced by the people residing in Paddar, Dacchan, Marwah, Chatroo, Bunjwah, etc.
He said that these areas being the NC strongholds stand deliberately ignored by the Administration on the development front.
Kichloo said that the development works started by the NC Government were brought to a halt and no further development has taken place in these areas since then.
Among others, who were present on the occasion include Mushtaq Ahmed Haq, Farooq Ahmed, Istiaq Ahmed Malik, Imtiaz Zargar, Shahid Karipak, Sajjad Ahmed, Zaqar Hussain, Raja Thakur and S.A Bhat.
