Bajrang Dal organizes free health check up camp

JAMMU, Sept 10: Bajrang Dal J&K in collaboration with Medanta Hospital Gurgaon organized a free health check up camp at Baby Caterers, Rehari Colony, here today.
The Camp was inaugurated by Aastik Kohli (vice president, Rashtriya Bajrang Dal J&K). A medical team of experts, including a Physician and a Physiotherapist, examined the patients during the camp.
During the camp, PFT (Pulmonary Function Test), ECG, Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure and other tests were also done free of cost. The motive of the camp was to provide the best health care services to the people at their doorstep. More than 120 patients were examined by physician and about 85 by the physiotherapist.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Rajinder Sharma said that organizations like Bajrang Dal play important role in providing help and care to people at their doorstep. He also highlighted the importance of routine health check-ups and praised the society’s initiative to provide voluntary services to the people.
Aastik Kohli, in his address, said that Rashtriya Bajrang Dal is committed to provide best health care facilities to common man and assured that he along with his team will continue conduct free medical camps for the common people in the future also.
Dr Arvind Sharma (Physician), Dr Gaurav Vaid (Physiotherapist), Sandeep Singh Jamwal (Assistant Manager Marketing), Anil Chopra, Nishu Bakshi, Aditiya, Jayant, Rudra, Prabjot and many others were also present during the camp.
