JAMMU, Dec 29: NRHM employees of Jammu province today constituted their body under the name and style of NRHM Employees Welfare Association Jammu.
Dr Pradeep Singh Rathore was unanimously elected as president of the body and Dr Raman Sharma as the general secretary. Other office bearers of the Association, elected unanimously, included Dr Mehjoor Khalid (senior vice president), Naazish, Swaran Deep Singh and Dr Adil Irshad ( vice presidents), Dr Rohit Gupta and Wasim Akram (treasurers), Riaz (auditor), Dr Sadeeq Wani ( joint secretary), Dr Tahir Khan (organizing secretary), Dr Bhagwati Prashad (chairman), Dr Javed Wani and Dr Rashid Ali Wani (members secretary).
The Association will strive for regularization of NRHM staff along with other burning issues and grievances like payment of salary on monthly basis, grant of E/L and maternity leave in favour of NRHM employees.
