JAMMU, Sept 11: A 65-year-old man, who allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence at Mishriwala area here, died today, officials said.
Chaman Lal son of Kirpa Ram of Pakhian, Mishriwala, was admitted to Government Medical College Jammu on September 10 after he reportedly consumed some poisonous material at his home, they said.
“He breathed his last around 7:30 am today,” officials said.
While the body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary of the Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for conducting the post-mortem inquest proceedings have been initiated at Police Station Kanachak to further probe the matter.
