DODA, Sept 14: A mini-bus overturned on road near Garsoo area here today leaving 23 passengers on board injured.
As per official source the ill fated vehicle bearing registration number JK06-1406 was on way to Doda from Thathri and it overturned on reaching near Garsoo area of Pul Doda at a curve.
After getting the news of accident, a police team from Police Station Doda with the help of locals reached the spot and evacuated all the injured to Hospital.
Two critically injured passengers-Nasir, 15, son of Mohd Hanif, resident of Budhi Kahara and Darshana Devi, 24, daughter of Krishan Lal, resident of Jodhpur, Doda were shifted to GMC Jammu while others were undergoing treatment at GMC Doda.
Other injured persons were Vijay Kumar, 19, son of Satish Kumar, resident of Mundhar; Lalita, 16, daughter of Mool Raj, resident of Kulhand; Sapna Devi, 18, daughter of Brij Lal, resident of Upper Dugli; Bipan Singh, 18, son of Bir Singh, resident of Anki Masri; Mukesh Kumar, 29, son of Lekh Raj, resident of Dhar;
Geeta, 45 and Kajol, 19, daughters of Tek Chand, resident of Roti Padrana; Pawan Sharma, 18, son of Mool Raj, resident of Dondli; Nishu Sharma, 13, daughter of Brij Lal, resident of Dondli; Dimpla Devi, age 22, daughter of Ram Nath, resident of Kishtwar;
Pritma Devi, 28, resident of Kulhand; Santosha, 35, resident of Dhar; Manoj Kumar, 50, son of Ishwar Lal, resident of Bhalla; Manvi Devi, 9, daughter of Dharminder, resident of Dhar; Sapna Devi, 15, daughter of Mool Raj, resident of Kulhand; Ankush, 15, son of Tek Chand, resident of Roti Padrana; Shriya, 21, resident of Parsholla; Swarna Devi, 11, daughter of Brij Lal, resident of Upper Dondli; Shivani, 21, daughter of Jia Lal, resident of Malwana Gundna; Arpita Devi, 14, daughter of Narinder Singh, resident of Dhar Bhagwah; and Surjeet, 23, son of Gandhi Singh, resident of Zehand.
A case in this regards has been registered at Police Station Doda and investigation started.
