UDHAMPUR, Sept 15: District Police Udhampur today apprehended two drug peddlers and seized 34 kg 240 grams of poppy straw from their possession.
The drug peddlers identified as Amarjeet Singh son of Gurdyal Singh of Hoshiarpur (Punjab) and Raman son of Ram Dayal of Kapurthala (Punjab) were arrested during naka checking at Roundomail when they were travelling in a Mahindra Xylo vehicle bearing registration number PB07U-4832.
In this connection, a case FIR Number 476/2023 U/S 8/15 NDPS Acts was registered at Police Station Udhampur and further investigation started.
