Srinagar, Sept 16: A retired Deputy Superintendent of Police was killed in a road mishap on Khanabal-Pahalgam road in Anantnag district today.
An official said that Retd DySP Raj Mohammad Khan, 75, was killed in a hit and run case in Anantnag district today.
He said that he was hit by some unknown vehicle in his native area. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
“A case has been registered in this regard for due investigations”, the official added.
