As the Indian experience shows, and as the conditions prevail in our country, the benefits of population as have been enumerated in the write up do not hold much water. The increasing population in the country is becoming a great problem, the solution of which if not found immediately will spell doom.
There is no aspect of public service which is not under stress as a result of it. Natural resources are vanishing, so are job opportunities. The progress made in health, education or transport sectors is getting nullified. Besides what is good for China, cannot be good for India due to different set of values, beliefs and customs.
The increasing crime graph in the country is indicative of the widening gulf between haves and have nots.
So, there is urgent need to contain population growth in this country by launching awareness drives in the country.
However, there should be no coercion to achieve the goal of containing population
