100 CUJ students offered jobs through campus placement drive in current year

JAMMU, Sept 17: The campus placements and internships at Central University of Jammu (CUJ) are taking off at a steady pace under the action-oriented leadership of Vice Chancellor, Prof Sanjeev Jain as so far in the current year, 100 students have been offered jobs or jobs through internship, which is the highest number during the campus placement drive.
The highest number of job offers were made to the students of the MBA (Tourism and Travel Management) with 8.5 lakh as the highest package while Computer Science Department with 7.2 lakh highest package. As many as 100 students of the CUJ campus were offered jobs. Highest package for MBA (Marketing) stood at 7.25 lakh and Average Salary Package (CTC) stood at Rs 3.67 lakh.
Training and Placement Officer, CUJ has invited employers from Pan India. Companies like Satguru Travels, VIA ENS, KENT, Planet Spark, APML, Ease My trip, Indiamart, LPU, AARK Global, Inurture and Vedanta were among the top employers. Students were offered positions like Management Trainee, Officer Tourism, Assistant Professor, Content writers etc.
The Campus is emerging as the most preferred hiring destination for top recruiters in the country owing to the diversified pool of talent available with business acumen and scholastic achievements. Of the 100 job offers, 20 were made in M tech, 44 in MBA and 36 in others.
