JAMMU, Sept 17: To show their resentment against the rising unemployment the activists of District Youth Congress (DYC) held at protest march here today.
A protest was organised by Anirudh Sawhney State General Secretary J&K Youth Congress along with DYC President Jammu (Urban), Vankul Jamba.
Speaking on the occasion, Ex J&K PYC President Uday Bhanu Chib, IYC Incharge Maharashtra stated that on the occasion of the 72nd birthday of PM Modi, the Youth Congress wants to highlight the critical issue of unemployment that has affected millions of youth across the nation.
Stressing on the soaring unemployment rates across the nation, which have created an atmosphere of disappointment and disillusionment, Chib said that tackling unemployment not event in the list of BJP Government’s priorities. Capable and competent young men and women are sitting idle, jobless because of the extreme dearth of jobs available. On the other hand, we see no efforts or policies directed towards this goal of handling the job crisis.
Anirudh Sawhney, State General Secretary of JKPYC, emphasized the need for urgent attention to address the soaring unemployment rates, which have been exacerbated by the misrule policies of the BJP Government.
Among others who were present during the event included Fiaz Diwan, Ranjoth Singh, Sahil Dogra, Rishab Kohli, Rohan AYC President Jammu East, Sunil Singh AYC President Jammu North, Anmol Kohli AYC Vice President Jammu West and several other prominent Youth Congress leaders participated.
