JAMMU, Sept 18: Senior BJP leader, Jeet Kumar Angral, who is also JMC Councillor of Ward number 12 and former Chairman of Social Justice Committee here today started the work of laying water supply pipes in his Ward wherein the work shall be completed with an estimated expenditure of Rs. 8.30 lakh.
Sat Sharma, former Minister; BJP District president, Pramod Kapahi; Mandal president, Kesav Chopra and Atul Bakshi were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Jeet Angral said that water supply pipes in the area were very old and were damaged at many places due to which people of the area were suffering a lot.
He said that laying of new water supply pipes was a long pending demand of the area which has been fulfilled now.
“New pipes will ensure clean drinking water in the area thereby giving a relief to the residents of the Ward,” Angral maintained.
Sat Sharma lauded the dedication with which the Councillor, Jeet Angral was working for his Ward.
District BJP president, Pramod Kapahi said that new water supply pipes will solve the water problem in Krishna Nagar area.
Varinder Dogra, Dr. Surjeet Singh, Anil Angral, Ramesh Kumar, Swarn Samyal, Chaksoo Kapoor, Pratib Sharma, Tarun Angral, Geeta Mehra, Manmohan Sharma, Bishan Dass, Kuldeep Kumar and others were also present on the occasion.
