Sandeep Ch goes to NIA, Vasanthakumar posted to Ladakh

JAMMU, Sept 18: The Government today relieved Sandeep Choudhary, SP Cyber Crime Investigation Centre for Excellence (CICE) from his post to enable him to join the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on deputation for five years.
Meanwhile, consequent upon the repatriation of Dr Vasanthakumar N, an IAS officer, from deputation, he has been posted to UT of Ladakh with immediate effect.
An order issued by RK Goyal, Financial Commissioner/ Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Home, Jammu and Kashmir, read, “consequent upon the approval of the competent authority for induction of Sandeep Choudhary, SP CICE as SP in NIA on deputation basis for a period of five years from the date of the assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier, the officer is relieved from the UT of J&K, to enable him to take up the new assignment.”
It has been further ordered that the SP, Special Crime Wing, Jammu, Anuj Kumar, shall hold the charge of the post of SP CICE in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Another order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, read, “consequent upon repatriation from deputation, Dr Vasanthakumar N, is hereby posted to Ladakh with immediate effect and until further orders.”
“Dr Vasanthakumar N joined the cadre on September 12, 2023. The period from the date of his joining the cadre to the date of issue of the order may be treated as ‘awaiting posting’,” said the order.
