UDHAMPUR, June 22: Vice Chancellor, Prof Mohan Pal Singh Ishar, along with official of the Jammu University and experts of Geological Survey of India finalized the construction plan of the academic block, boys and girls hostel of Udhampur campus. The purpose was to establish the sustainability of structure, building in the hilly terrain.
During the visit, Vice Chancellor, had a meeting with Member Legislative Assembly (MLA), Udhampur, Balwant Singh Mankotia, and discussed various issues with regard to the approach road connecting the campus with the highway.
It was felt that joint efforts are required to address this issue to ensure smooth functioning of academic programme from within its main campus in the current academic session.
Among others present were Prof Naresh Padha, Registrar, Prof Lokesh Verma, Rector, Udhampur Campus, Jai Kumar, OSD to Vice-Chancellor, Suresh Sharma, Executive Engineer, and other officials of Udhampur campus.
