KULGAM, Sept 20: BJP district general secretary, Kulgam and Sarpanch Chowgam-A, Vijay Raina toured his Halqa Panchayat and inaugurated the different projects completed and took stock of ongoing works. He was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner, Development, Kulgam, Mohammad Imran Khan, Block Development Officer (BDO), Devsar Khalil Choudhary and other officials of Rural Development Department (RDD).
During the visit inauguration of fencing of ancient Hindu Shamshan Ghat was carried out which was retrieved from the encroachers after 33 years after the migration of Hindu community from the village.
Inauguration of tile lane and fencing of Markazi Jamia Masjid was also carried out by Vijay Raina in presence of ACD and BDO.
Ongoing developmental works like fencing of play field, liquid & Solid Management projects and under construction PMAY houses were also inspected by them in the Halqa Panchayat Chowgam-A.
An instant Gram Sabha was also carried out and the grievances where listened by the ACD Kulgam and their redressal was done on the spot.
