Dr Karan Singh meets LG, pays obeisance at Kheer Bhawani

SRINAGAR, Sept 21: Dr Karan Singh, former Sadr-I-Riyasat, today met the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan Srinagar and discussed the present day political and development scenario in J&K.
The two prominent figures engaged in a comprehensive discussion on the current political and development landscape in the Union Territory.
Meanwhile, Dr Karan Singh also paid obeisance at the Kheer Bhawani Temple in Srinagar and prayed for the peace, progress and prosperity of the Union Territory.
During his visit, Dr Karan Singh performed Pooja and went through the temple Complex to enquire about the facilities being provided to the devotees.
Notably, Kheer Bhawani Temple, Tulla-Mulla in Ganderbal district of Srinagar is being managed by the J&K Dharmarth Trust and Dr Karan Singh is its Chairman Trustee.
He asked senior functionaries of the Trust to work with more zeal and dedication.
