Shiv Mandir Committee Nahama constituted

JAMMU, Sept 22: Moti Lal Pandita was chosen as president and Rakesh Pandita Chairman of the Shiv Mandir Committee Nahama, Handwara, Sunil Raina as its general secretary and Satish Pandita as cashier.
It was also decided that the Committee will make strenuous efforts to rebuild the damaged and burnt temple of their native village of Nahama, Handwara Kashmir. Efforts will also be made to mobilize the Government as well as private resources for the same.
The Committee after a long gap of three decades performed the Maha Yagnya of their Ishta Devi Mata Zala Bagwati in the premises of Swami Kral Bab Ji Ashram Bantalab. The said Vedic Yagnya was performed for two days under the guidance of great Ved Acharaya, L D Kaul and his team of Aacharya’s.
During the performance of the Yagnya there were discourse on Kashmir Pandit Sanaskars and need was felt by one and all to make strong individuals and collective efforts to preserve and promote legacy of Kashmiri cultural heritage and tradition. Besides, others G L Raina Ex-MLC, Dleep Pandit, president Mata Badrakali Asthapan, Ranjeet Gurkha president Shree Sharika Chakrashwari Sanastha, J&K, Surinder Kachru president Swami Ram Shiva Ashram, Naseeb Nagar, Sanjay Raina, Chand Ji Kaw of Handwara Saba, Kuki Ji Raina and Mohan Lal Bhat of Sadi Ganesh Ashram Udeywalla attended the religious function.
