Cong-NC regimes responsible for Kashmir crisis: BJYM

SRINAGAR, Jan 2: While accusing the successive National Conference (NC)–Congress regimes for the ongoing mess in the State, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) today said that the mis- governance and rampant corruption during their regimes has been cause of the present turmoil in the State.
Talking to reporters here, BJYM State president Ravinder Raina said history is witness that whenever Congress and NC alliance ruled the State, Kashmir went into crisis because leaders of the two parties were not interested in the welfare of common masses but minting money only.
He said BJP will get clear majority in coming Lok Sabha elections and party will form the next Government at Centre under the leadership of Narendra Modi.
Raina said Modi a close associate of former Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee will follow his doctrine on Kashmir and would definitely bring Kashmir out of crisis.
He, while referring to Opposition leader, Mehbooba Mufti’s statement on Modi said PDP leader expressed reality and hard fact which common Kashmiri knows better.
He said the BJP will open its account in Lok Sabha elections in Kashmir and after formation of Government at Centre it will also sweep the Assembly elections in Jammu and Ladakh regions besides consolidating in Kashmir Valley and form the next Government in the State.
He said BJP’s agenda is to make J&K corruption free. The party will work for welfare of the people of this border State and provide justice to the people of the State who suffered a lot during terrorism and over 60 years misrule and wrong policies of Congress and NC.
BJP Muslim Morcha State president Mushtaq Noorabadi, BJYM State secretary, Arif Raja, BJP North Kashmir president, Desh Kumar Nehru and BJYM Central Kashmir president, Sheikh Bashir were also present in the press conference.
